Ike Perkins

Ike Perkins is the Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Snapper Creek Energy, bringing over 15 years of experience in energy investments, commodity trading, and financial structuring. Prior to founding Snapper Creek in 2023, Ike was part of the Structuring and Investments team at Mercuria Energy America, where he managed a portfolio of equity and debt investments in the renewable energy sector.

Before Mercuria, Ike served as a Vice President in the Merchant Banking group at Brown Brothers Harriman, focusing on investment strategies and portfolio management in the commodity trading sector. Earlier in his career, he worked on various trading desks at Bunge, a global physical commodity firm, gaining hands-on experience in commodity trading and risk management.

With a career in commodity transaction structuring, investment, and company management, Ike is focused on building Snapper Creek into a premier platform for energy market innovation.

Ike holds a bachelors degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from INSEAD. He is based in Miami Florida.
